WFSB is proud to offer a half hour of in-depth news coverage, from local issues to national and international news. Our newscasts also include sports, business, weather, and Traffic reports.

WFSB News Personnel: The WFSB News Department is operated mainly by students from Fayetteville State University, and other colleges within the area. The news producers and reporters come from a variety of academic disciplines, like legal studies, history, biology, and computer sciences. Several WFSB staff members went on to careers in broadcast journalism. One producer who graduated last year got a job with FSU.
